QRious Quest (“QRious Quest,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and protected when you use the QRious Quest mobile application.

Information We Collect

When you create and use a QRious Quest account, we may collect information you provide directly to us, including:

• Email address
• First name
• Account and profile information
• Faith journey preferences or growth areas you choose to provide
• App progress, including XP, Faith Points, levels, streaks, badges, quest completion, and similar activity

We may also collect limited technical information necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the application.

How We Use Information

• Create and manage user accounts
• Authenticate users and provide account-related emails
• Save progress and personalize the user's experience
• Track quests, achievements, XP, Faith Points, streaks, levels, and badges
• Provide and maintain app features
• Protect the security and integrity of the application
• Respond to support requests
• Diagnose technical problems and improve the application

Faith-Related Information

QRious Quest is a Christian faith-based application. Users may choose to participate in activities involving Scripture, prayer, worship, kindness, spiritual growth, and other faith-related experiences. Information users voluntarily provide while using faith-related features is used to provide the QRious Quest experience and is not sold to advertisers.

Account and Authentication Services

QRious Quest uses third-party service providers to help operate the application. Supabase provides services such as account authentication, database functionality, and storage of application data. Resend is used to deliver transactional emails, such as account confirmation and other account-related messages. These service providers may process information as necessary to provide their services and are subject to their respective privacy and security practices.

Selling or Sharing Personal Information

QRious Quest does not sell users' personal information. We do not sell personal information to advertisers or data brokers.

Advertising

QRious Quest does not use personal information for third-party targeted advertising.

Children's Privacy

QRious Quest is designed to provide faith-based activities that may be enjoyed by individuals and families. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable children's privacy laws. Parents and guardians are encouraged to supervise children's use of QRious Quest. If we learn that personal information from a child has been collected in a manner that requires parental consent and such consent was not obtained, we will take appropriate steps to delete the information. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information associated with QRious Quest. However, no electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Data Retention

We retain account and application information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide QRious Quest, maintain the user's account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the application.

Account and Data Deletion

Users may request deletion of their QRious Quest account and associated personal information by contacting support@qriousquest.com. We will process valid deletion requests subject to information we may be required or permitted to retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or other legitimate purposes.

Your Choices

Users may choose whether to participate in optional QRious Quest activities and may contact us regarding questions about their personal information or account.

Third-Party Links and Services

QRious Quest may contain links or references to third-party websites, resources, or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and QRious Quest is not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as QRious Quest develops or as legal or operational requirements change. When the policy is updated, the effective date at the top of this page will also be updated.
